My friend Armen Guzelimian played for a full house at the Pasadena Public Library on Sunday. His performance included works by Chopin, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and others. When Armen plays it makes you forget time and space. Not only does he posses a brilliant technique, but the emotional impact doesn’t compare to anything else. In between the pieces, Armen also explains what we are about to hear, speaks about the composer and sometimes with great sense of humor. He is truly a master of the classical piano, a great guy and I consider myself lucky to have him as my friend.
