I MADE IT TO 50!

Today is my 50th birthday. It sounds sooo old, but I don’t feel old at all and I still count my blessings. I miss my father every day. He died only a few months ago, but I found my mother again and I’m trying to be there for her. Also, two months ago I got back into training for Judo. I had stopped 15 years ago and had a hip surface replacement 10 years ago. I am now a trainer at the Hollywood Judo Dojo, a true honor. A photo exhibit is coming up May the 15th. Staying busy is essential because you never know what’s around the next corner.
One of my favorite quotes about life was written by Nishiren Daishonin in 1253:
